Following Karpaty’s 3-0 victory over LNZ, head coach Fran Fernandez highlighted several areas that still need improvement.
“At the start of the game, there was a noticeable tension. We need to feel more relaxed and play with greater speed. The situation was similar to our previous match. We have to take the field more focused. As the game progressed, our performance improved. In the second half, we managed to display the style of play we aim for. When you execute your plan, positive results naturally follow. Playing with confidence allows us to secure wins and get the best out of the game. The team definitely has character. However, there is certainly room for growth,” Fran concluded.
He also promised reinforcements for the squad.
“We need to sign one or two more forwards. I hope there will be official news on this tomorrow. But we also require strengthening in several other positions. This championship features seven or eight strong teams, and there is a certain level of parity among the competitors.”
