While the 2026 FIFA World Cup is in full swing, the Premier League has released the official schedule for the 2026/27 season.
It has been 25 years since Coventry played in the top division of England, and when they finally return to the Premier League pitch, they will immediately face the reigning champions – Arsenal.
There is every chance that Arsenal will look somewhat weakened in the first match, as many of their players are participating in the World Cup and there may be questions about their form.
For Andoni Iraola, the start of his work as Liverpool’s coach will not be easy. First of all, he will have to play away against Newcastle.
The opening matches for Manchester City and Manchester United look quite predictable. In the first five games, City will face Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, Coventry, and Sunderland. And United will play against Hull, Ipswich, Everton, and Fulham. But in the fourth round, we are expecting the first Manchester derby of the season at Old Trafford.
