While the rest of the squad trained under new manager Zinedine Zidane at the Clairefontaine base, Mbappé remained behind for monitoring. This marked Zidane’s second training session in charge of the national team. Medical staff are closely observing Mbappé’s condition, but it remains unclear if he will recover in time for the game against Turkey. There is still hope for his return, according to RMC Sport.
The Nations League fixture against Turkey is scheduled for Friday, 25 September, in Kocaeli. During this international window, France will also face Belgium twice and Italy.
