Liverpool Eyes €200 Million Move for Bayern’s Michael Olise
Liverpool is seriously considering signing Michael Olise, one of Bayern Munich‘s most sought-after players. According to SportBild, the English club could face competition from Real Madrid for the French midfielder, with the potential transfer fee reaching up to 200 million euros.
Over the past two summers, Liverpool has notably shifted its transfer strategy. Traditionally reluctant to spend huge sums regularly on star players, the club now boasts three signings acquired for nine-figure fees.
The next major addition to the squad could be Olise. Although his contract with Bayern Munich runs until 2029, the possibility that the player might be unwilling to extend his deal could prompt the German club to consider selling him.
This transfer seems particularly relevant for Liverpool given their need to replace Mohamed Salah. The English club failed to resolve this issue during the summer transfer window, and Olise is viewed as one of the most suitable candidates to fill that gap.
Despite this, Bayern Munich remains clear about their ambitious goal to win the UEFA Champions League in the coming years. Olise is regarded as a key player in their system, and securing a new contract with the Frenchman remains a top priority for the club’s management.
