Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manes Akliush has been called up to the France national team as a replacement for Warren Zaïre-Emery, who sustained a groin injury during Sunday’s Ligue 1 clash against Marseille.

Zaïre-Emery featured as the right-back in the high-profile “Classico” encounter, which ended with PSG securing a 2-1 victory over Marseille.

Akliush was not included in the initial squad announced by Zinedine Zidane on Friday.

France will kick off their UEFA Nations League campaign with a match against Turkey. Their Group A1 opponents also include Italy and Belgium.
