Nine African Nations Advance Past Group Stage at World Cup
The World Cup marked a historic milestone for African teams, with nine representatives from the continent successfully advancing beyond the group stage.
Interestingly, none of these African sides topped their groups; all finished in either second or third place.
Tunisia was the only African team to fail to progress from the group phase.
