Norway and Ghana Climb FIFA Rankings; Tunisia and Czech Republic Decline
Following the recent World Cup fixtures, the FIFA rankings have undergone notable changes, as the standings are adjusted daily throughout the tournament.
The most striking development is Mexico’s rise into the top 10. After securing three victories at the World Cup, the “Aztecs” surged up five places to claim 9th position. However, the biggest leaps in the latest matches were made by Norway and Ghana, each climbing nine spots to reach 22nd and 65th place respectively.
On the other hand, the most significant drop belongs to Tunisia, which fell 14 places to 59th. Panama also experienced a substantial decline, slipping eight places to 42nd. Among European teams, the Czech Republic’s fall was particularly notable, dropping eight spots to 48th in the FIFA rankings.
