Paris Saint-Germain has officially confirmed the signing of 19-year-old Belgian forward Mickey Godts from Ajax. The transfer fee for the young winger reached €55 million including bonuses.
The Belgian attacker has committed to a long-term deal running until 2031 and will wear the number 22 jersey. This marks PSG’s fifth acquisition during the current transfer window. Negotiations with the Amsterdam club were challenging, but Paris managed to lower the initial asking price from €60 million.
“I am incredibly proud to join one of the best clubs in the world. I can’t wait to put on the jersey and step onto the Parc des Princes pitch in front of our fans,” Godts said.
