Robert Lewandowski Completes Move to Chicago Fire in MLS Transfer
Polish striker Robert Lewandowski is set to continue his career in the United States. The 37-year-old forward’s transfer to Chicago Fire has been officially completed. Lewandowski joins the MLS side as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Barcelona.
For the Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund legend, this will be his first experience playing in America. He will link up with a team currently sitting third in the MLS Eastern Conference and will become teammates with former Lille player Jonathan Bamba. Although the all-time top scorer for the Poland national team was unable to lead his country to qualification for the 2026 World Cup, this move still marks a new chapter for him in the United States.
