Unai Melgosa Departs as Ukraine U-21 Head Coach
The head coach of Ukraine’s U-21 national team, Unai Melgosa, has ended his collaboration with the Ukrainian Football Association. This development was confirmed on the official website of the UAF.
Unai Melgosa took charge of the Ukrainian U-21 squad in July 2023. Under his guidance, the team was preparing for the 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship.
The Ukrainian Football Association expressed its gratitude to Melgosa for his work and wished him success in his future career, according to the statement published on their website.
Earlier reports indicated that Dmitry Mykhaylenko, the current head coach of the Ukraine U-19 team, is expected to succeed the Spanish coach.
