Vitaliy Mykolenko Set to Feature Against Northern Ireland
Good news for fans of the Ukraine national team: defender Vitaliy Mykolenko is back in action. He has fully recovered from a minor injury and will be available for the upcoming match against Northern Ireland.
Mykolenko played the full 90 minutes in the opening round clash against Hungary, but missed the second match versus Georgia due to muscle discomfort. However, he returned to full training yesterday, giving coach Andrea Maldera the option to field all players listed in the squad.
The game against Northern Ireland is scheduled for tomorrow, October 2, at the designated home venue in Trnava, Slovakia. After two rounds, both teams share the lead in Group B2.
