Coula Palmer will be replaced by Morgan Gibbs-White in the England squad for the upcoming UEFA Nations League matches. Although Palmer was not selected for the World Cup squad, he earned a call-up from Thomas Tuchel earlier this month following a strong start to the season with Chelsea.

However, a minor injury has sidelined the Chelsea midfielder, ruling him out of the upcoming fixtures.

Gibbs-White, who was initially left out of the squad, will now step in as Palmer’s replacement.

The Nottingham Forest player has impressed with his performances so far this season, and Tuchel has faced criticism for not including the 26-year-old Morgan in the original squad selection.
