The press will not have the opportunity to question Nagelsmann about his future. Yesterday, the German national team suffered a shocking defeat to Paraguay in the Round of 16 at the World Cup, losing in a penalty shootout.
Today, the German Football Association (DFB) announced the cancellation of the scheduled press conference with Julian Nagelsmann.
Instead, the team will return home to Germany and then proceed to their off-season break.
It is worth recalling that the DFB had modestly aimed for at least a quarterfinal appearance at the World Cup, but the Bundesliga side failed to meet even that target.
