Manchester City have officially completed the transfer of 19-year-old forward Matis Deturbe from Troyes. While the clubs have not disclosed the financial terms, media reports suggest the fee for the French winger was around €25 million. It is expected that Deturbe will spend the upcoming season on loan at Monaco, with the agreement including an option for a permanent transfer.
The move to the City Football Group network is a logical step, as both clubs belong to the same holding company. Last season, Deturbe played a key role in Troyes’ success, helping the team win Ligue 2 and secure promotion back to the top flight. The young talent contributed three goals and six assists during the campaign.
