Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta addressed concerns about his future at the club ahead of the FA Community Shield match against Manchester City. Although the Spanish manager’s current contract runs for another twelve months, both parties are in no rush to finalize a new deal, instead prioritizing strengthening the squad during the transfer window.
“There is nothing for the fans to worry about. I am very happy here and want to stay. The contract length is not an issue; there is complete mutual understanding with the club’s leadership. Right now, all our efforts are focused on improving the squad. The club has huge ambitions, and we want to make the team even stronger,” Arteta told the BBC.
