Brazilian winger Rafinha will miss the upcoming friendly against India, according to the online outlet Globo. The player has returned to Spain to undergo treatment under the supervision of Barcelona‘s medical staff. The decision to send Rafinha back to his club was taken as a precautionary measure.

Rafinha sustained a muscle injury during the friendly against Australia (4-2). He scored the equalizer at 45+1 minutes by converting a penalty but did not return to the pitch after halftime.

So far this 2026/2027 season, Rafinha has tallied 15 goals and four assists across 10 appearances for both club and country. On Saturday, October 3, Brazil will play a friendly against India, which will conclude their international window.
