Today, Girona officially parted ways with five players: Vitor Reis, Claudio Echeverri, Marc-André ter Stegen, Hugo Rincon, and Thomas Lemar.
Those who spent the previous season out on loan are now returning to their parent clubs.
It is worth recalling that Girona was relegated to the second division following the 2025/26 season.
The Catalan side has also lost their head coach, Michel. Meanwhile, Ukrainian player Viktor Tsyhankov is reportedly seeking to leave the club.
